Go Green. Give Green.

The 2009 UW-River Falls Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign

This year’s faculty and staff giving campaign is so important we’re providing answers to your pressing questions up front—in a simplified format:

New this year is the match challenge. Through a lead gift by Katrina Larsen and Mark Meydam, as well as dollars given by the UW-River Falls Leadership Team, your gift may be doubled! New donors will have their gift matched, dollar for dollar. Current donors will have any increase over their previous amount matched, dollar for dollar. Gifts will be matched until the Match Fund is expended. Make your gift today to take advantage of the Fund.

As always, you can designate where your contribution goes—to a college, a department, or a program of your choice. We suggest the UWRF Endowed Scholarship Fund, the UWRF Foundation General Scholarship Fund, the Faculty and Staff Development Fund, your college’s Fund for Excellence, or the Fund for UW-River Falls.

Strong giving by faculty and staff models the kind of behavior we seek from external donors. In fact, it encourages them to give. It’s something they ask about and respond to. The greater our giving, the easier it is to generate support for the university among alumni and friends.

So, make your gift today. Click here. You will be given a choice of how you would like to make your contribution. Payroll deduction allows automatic payments from your check during each pay period. Or a one-time gift provides a commitment form and method for submittal.

Remember, participation is more important than the amount. Make your gift at a level that is meaningful to you. Your support, at whatever level, demonstrates your belief and pride in the work done here.
