Career Library and Computer Lab: Handouts and a wide array of hardcopy books and resources are available for every major. In our Computer Lab are six computers with career software, a digital sender, scanner, color and black and white printers, and an old-fashioned typewriter are available.
Employers Visiting Campus (Interviews / Info Sessions): Sign-up to interview on-campus with employers seeking full-time employees.
Interview Preparation: Have a mock interview prior to a real interview to hone interviewing skills. While an exceptional resume will land an interview, an excellent interview will land a job.
UWRF Hire-a-Falcon System: UWRF job board containing on and off-campus jobs and internships. Resources includes are a "Job Agent" to receive an email list of jobs, a resume critique, network of volunteer mentors, and list of employer on-campus interviews, and resume referrals.
Associations: Career Services staff are members of professional career-related associations which may serve as a resource for students.
Researching Employers: Employers expect that serious candidates have done their employer research prior to an interview.
Resume Referrals: When employers contact UWRF Career Services asking for resumes of students who are qualified for their open full-time positions, we will refer your resume to them if you are a senior/graduate and qualify. You must upload a resume to your Hire-a-Falcon account to receive this service.
